Educational events in memory of Imam Maturidi is continuing

As previously reported, on March 3-5, an international conference is planned in Samarkand “Imam Abu Mansur Maturidi and the teaching of maturidia: past and present”. In honor of this significant event, the week of Imam Maturidi is being held in Samarkand. The first seminar was held at Samarkand State University on February 11 of this year. Next was on February 13 at the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages.

During the event, staff and researchers of the Center made reports on several themes: Imam Maturidi’s masters, his scientific and spiritual works, as well as his contribution to the development of enlightened Islam.
