On February 3, a delegation consisting of leaders from the international scientific-research centers of Imam Bukhari, Imam Termizi, and Imam Maturidi, currently visiting Malaysia, was received by Professor Muhammad Nur Manuti, Chairman of the Institute of Islamic Understanding Malaysia (IKIM) and a member of the Interfaith Harmony Committee under the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
During the meeting, it was highlighted that a documentary film recently aired on Malaysia’s TV-IKIM channel garnered significant attention. The film showcased the fundamental religious and educational reforms undertaken in Uzbekistan under the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the in-depth study and promotion of the rich intellectual and spiritual legacy of great scholars, and the achievements of newly established international research centers in New Uzbekistan. The documentary was met with great interest and appreciation from academic circles and the public.
The meeting also included discussions on organizing joint conferences and conducting collaborative research on the scientific heritage and manuscripts of renowned scholars.
