The presentation of the book “Naslednik proroka” (Heir of the Prophet) was held at the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center in cooperation with the Geopolitical Research Institute of Kazakhstan. The author of this first work in Russian and Kazakh languages on the life of Imam Bukhari, Islamic researcher Yernar Chalgimbayev, wrote many books about Hajj and Umrah prayers.
The scholar holds a master’s degree in Islamic studies and studied in Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Egypt and Kazakhstan. He blogs on his Instagram social page with over 55,000 followers. In it, he shares his knowledge of Islamic sciences and encourages people to study the religion and follow its principles.
At the presentation, which was attended by the Director of the Institute of Geopolitical Research of Kazakhstan, Professor Asilbek Izbairov, scientific staff of the Center, teachers and mentors of the school of Hadith Science, the author noted that the book tells about the love of Imam Bukhari for science, his services as a reliable patron of the Sunnah, as well as his courage and selflessness in preserving the authenticity of hadiths.
“Imam Bukhari is the most famous muhaddith of the Islamic world, a reliable patron of the Sunnah and a great person who memorized the hadiths of our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, kept them in their original form and passed them on to future generations. Therefore, both his name and his treasure-like works have high value. Allah blessed his great work and made his name to be remembered by all Muslims in the world for centuries,” – E. Chalgimbaev said.
The book describes in detail the amazing and exemplary life of Imam Bukhari, his endless dedication and passion for science, and his incomparable services to the development of Islamic sciences. Through this work, the author aims to convey the lessons learned from the life of Imam Bukhari to the hearts of every Muslim.
Based on historical facts, this book illuminates Imam Bukhari’s multifaceted activities, his hardships on the path of knowledge, and the glorious legacy he left for humanity. It reflects not only the life of the Sultan of Hadith scholars but also important aspects of Islamic teachings, and encourages Muslims to follow the Sunnah.
Speaking about the invaluable significance of Imam Bukhari’s rich legacy in the Muslim world, those who spoke at the presentation noted that the book will serve as a great resource for future generations, will further increase the desire to study and follow the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad.
During the event, the guests were presented with Imam Bukhari’s works “Khalq Af’aal al-‘Ibaad” and “Al-Kitab Al-Zuafo Al-Saghir,” recently translated into Uzbek and prepared for publication by the Center.
The participants emphasized that the rich scientific heritage left by the outstanding scholar of the Islamic world resonates with the idea of “Enlightenment against ignorance,” calling upon the peoples of the world to pursue only goodness and enlightenment. They also noted that the books being published will allow more people to benefit from this valuable heritage.
