These days, the VI International Forum of Russian Muslims is taking place at the Bulgarian Islamic Academy in Kazan, Tatarstan. More than 100 scientific reports of scientists, religious figures and specialists from more than ten countries are being heard, and current religious, social and cultural issues are being discussed.
This event dedicated to the development of cooperation and social services between Muslim societies, further improvement of religious education and training of competitive personnel, combating extremism and strengthening pure Islamic values among young people. The forum also highlights the current aspects of relations between religious organizations and government agencies, as well as the development of Islamic financial systems.
At the prestigious event, Sh. Umarov and B. Tursunov – scientists from the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center have presented their reports on the effectiveness of reforms in the religious and educational sphere in Uzbekistan, the role of madhabs as a leading factor in ensuring Muslim unity, and the importance of spiritual heritage in raising a harmoniously developed generation.
As part of the event, books published by the Center were presented to the library of the Bulgarian Islamic Academy. This once again demonstrated the contribution of our scientific team to the study of the scientific heritage of our ancestors and its dissemination to the general public on an international scale.
The participants of the forum noted the growing prestige of Uzbek scientists in the international scientific community and highly appreciated the activities of the Center in the further development of religious enlightenment.
The participants put forward a number of proposals for expanding scientific and educational cooperation, developing religious education and Islamic culture.
