Promotional events have begun

In the past week, large-scale promotional activities under the slogan “Enlightenment against ignorance” began in neighborhoods and educational institutions in Samarkand region.

The event, aimed at improving the social and spiritual environment in the regions, was initially organized with the participation of residents of the Joyichukur mahhala of Samarkand. Director of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center Shovosil Ziyodov gave information about the scale of work carried out in the field of religion and education in our country. It was also noted that the ultimate goal of radical reforms at the front is to educate young people in the spirit of the original values of Islam, such as interethnic harmony, interreligious tolerance and mutual respect.

The head of the center also expressed his opinion about the value of peace, the importance of tolerance in ensuring interethnic harmony, the ideas of goodness and humanity in Islam, and the essence of educating the young generation in the spirit of national values and patriotism at the event organized at the Samarkand Institute of Economy and Service.

At an educational event held at the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages on the topic “Radicalism as a source of social instability,” the chief adviser to the director of the Center, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Bakhtiyor Torayev informed the students of the institute about the work being done in the field of missionary work, extremism, and the fight against cybercrime and the influence of radical movements, using examples from life to show protective measures.The activities organized in cooperation with the regional department of the Committee on Religious Affairs, the Department of Combating Terrorism of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs continued in the form of question and answer.

At the end of the events, the participants were shown a documentary film entitled “Enlightenment against ignorance – our main goal”.
