Today, in Samarkand, an international symposium on the theme “Sultan Yildirim Bayazid and Amir Temur” started in cooperation with Samarkand State University, Ankara Yildirim Bayazid of Turkey, and Bursa Uludag universities.
The leadership of the representative office of Turkey in Samarkand (TIKA), state and public figures, the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, and about 50 scientists and experts from higher educational institutions from Turkey and our country are participating in the prestigious conference.
The conference, which was organized to further strengthen the scientific cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey, along with a deeper study of the spiritual and educational environment that prevailed during the time of the great ancestors of both countries, is planned to continue until October 26 in the cities of Bursa and Ankara, Turkey.
Otabek Muhammadiev, the deputy director of Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, Doctor of Philosophy in History, was invited to the prestigious symposium and planned to give a speech on the theme “Famous scholars of the theology period of Timurids” at the branch meeting of the conference in Bursa.
