An international conference on the topic “Imam Abu Mansur Moturidi and the teachings of moturidia: the past and the present” will be held in cooperation with religious educational institutions of Uzbekistan and Al-Azhar complex of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The main purpose of the conference:
Further study of Imam Moturidi’s scientific heritage, to reveal the essence of the teachings of moturidia against destructive sects, throughout the world promotion of the invaluable contribution to Islamic civilization of Uzbekistan as the “Country of Great Scholars”.

The conference will be held in the following departments:
- Teachings of moturidia and modernity.
- Preservation and development of religious values in the modern state.
The first branch is devoted to the analysis of the arrival and development of Kalam in Movarounnahr and topics raised in the works of Abu Mansur Moturidi. It also covers the level of development of the moturidia teaching in the post-Imam Moturidi period, life of scientists who worked on Movarounnahr’s moturidism, their contribution to the development of the teaching of moturidia and their relevance today.
In the second branch actual issues of youth and women in modern Muslim societies and measures to prevent fanaticism among them will be investigated; Uzbekistan and foreign experience, the ways of harmonization, religious and educational reforms in Uzbekistan will be promoted, studied and identified.
Conditions of participation, articles and reports at the conference:
Articles may be submitted in Uzbek, Arabic, Russian or English languages. Results of the conference will be published as a collection of scientific articles.
Articles should be submitted both in printed and electronic versions. Articles and reports from foreign participants can be submitted electronically only.
Article text must be in MS Office WORD 97, 2003 editor, Times New Roman font, size 14 bytes, 1.5 intervals.
The text of the article is edited on A4 paper, 2.5 cm from the top and bottom, 3 cm from the left, and 1.5 cm from the right, leaving place.
The author’s name, scientific degree and title (upper right corner, italicized, font size 10) in the first line, the name of the organization, position, city and country in the second line, the e-mail address with the location code in the third line should also be indicated. Moreover, 1 interval should be left and the title of the article should be capitalized. The main text will be written in 1.5 intervals rows.
