On November 6, Participants of the Uzbek-American scientific-practical seminar “Religion and the Rule of Law”, which is currently being held in Tashkent, visited Samarkand.
The guests first visited the memorial complex of Imam Bukhari and familiarized themselves with the conditions for worship and pilgrimage.
The participants of the international seminar were acquainted with the activities of Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center and Higher School of Hadith Science
Director of the IBISRC Sh. Ziyodov accepted the guests and gave detailed information on scientific research, translating and international cooperation in such fields as the science of theology, Quran studies, and kalam.
Unique exhibits, copies of manuscript sources and wall paintings from the Museum of the Centre impressed the guests.
It should be noted that in the afternoon, a roundtable with representatives of Uzbek and American academic circles would be held at the Youth Center in Samarkand on the topic: “Interreligious dialogue is an important factor in ensuring peace and harmony in society”.
