As previously reported, research articles authored by Shukurillo Umarov and Nodir Kobilov, researchers at the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, were published in the International Journal of History and Political Sciences, an international academic journal based in the United States. Both scholars were also awarded special certificates of authorship in recognition of their contributions.
The Center’s research activities continue to gain international recognition. In the September 2026 issue of the same journal, a scholarly article by Nurmukhammad Matkarimov, a researcher at the Center, was published, focusing on the philosophy of Sufism.
The author was also presented with a special certificate of authorship by the international academic journal.
The article, entitled “Sufi Terms and Their Unconventional Expressions in Najmiddin Kubro’s Work ‘Favoihu-L-Jamol Va Favotihu-L-Jalol’,” explores the rich intellectual and spiritual legacy of the eminent scholar Najmiddin Kubro, the founder of the Kubrawiyya Sufi order.
Drawing on a rigorous academic approach, the study offers an in-depth examination of the distinctive terminology and expressions employed in this remarkable work, with particular emphasis on their meanings, philosophical implications, and significance within the Sufi tradition.
The publication of another research article by a member of the Center’s academic staff in an international journal marks a further achievement in its ongoing efforts to study, preserve, and promote the rich scholarly and spiritual heritage of Uzbekistan’s great thinkers on the global academic stage.
