Uzbekistan’s delegation undertook extensive preparations and organizational work ahead of the international conference titled “Islamic Civilization: Uzbekistan’s Great Spiritual and Scholarly Heritage, New Horizons of Enlightenment, and Dialogue among Civilizations,” to be held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.

As part of these preparations, Otabek Mukhammadiyev, Deputy Director of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, and Jonibek Jumayev, a department head at the Center, held discussions with representatives of prominent international organizations and heads of overseas research institutions.

A special exhibition was also prepared at UNESCO Headquarters, showcasing the Center’s unique scholarly publications, including major monographs and collections devoted to the legacy of great thinkers. The exhibition, located at the conference venue, will be presented to international experts and conference participants.

These preparations and the book exhibition aim to raise global awareness of Uzbekistan’s rich cultural and intellectual heritage.
Otabek Mukhammadiyev is also expected to deliver a presentation during the conference.
