A delegation from Indonesia, led by Haji Ahmad Syairazi, Chairman of the South Kalimantan Provincial Branch of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), paid an official visit to the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.


During the visit, the guests toured the Center’s museum exhibitions and familiarized themselves with the modern research facilities and favorable conditions provided for academic staff and international scholars.
The delegation members were given a comprehensive overview of the Center’s collections of rare manuscripts and historical sources, as well as its extensive efforts to study, preserve, and promote the rich intellectual legacy of the eminent hadith scholar Imam al-Bukhari.


The Indonesian guests expressed their high appreciation for the Center’s scholarly activities and its significant contributions to advancing Islamic culture, knowledge, and enlightenment.
They also commended the ongoing efforts to strengthen academic, educational, and cultural cooperation between Uzbekistan and Indonesia, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in fostering closer scholarly ties and promoting the shared intellectual and spiritual heritage of the two nations.
