Another international researcher has arrived at the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center to undertake a research fellowship under the Imam Bukhari International Scholarship Program.

The new fellow, Dr. Madinabonu Moidinova, a researcher at Bursa Uludağ University in Türkiye and a PhD holder, is originally from Kyrgyzstan.
During a meeting with Prof. Dr. Shovosil Ziyodov, Director of the Center, the visiting scholar presented a detailed overview of her research project entitled “A Study of Fazlullah ibn Ruzbihan Khunji’s Suluk al-Muluk.”

The title of this historical treatise may be translated as “Rules of Conduct for Rulers” or “The Etiquette of Kings.” Her research aims to explore the work’s scholarly and theoretical significance, with particular emphasis on examining the political and legal concepts reflected in the text.
During the meeting, discussions also focused on the favorable conditions and research opportunities available to international scholars at the Center. Particular attention was given to its library resources, collections of rare manuscripts, and valuable historical sources that provide an important foundation for academic research.

In accordance with the approved fellowship program, Dr. Madinabonu Moidinova is expected to examine rare manuscripts preserved in the Center’s collections, deepen her research into the intellectual legacy of Fazlullah ibn Ruzbihan Khunji, and exchange scholarly knowledge and expertise with specialists in her field from Uzbekistan.
Her research fellowship provides another valuable opportunity to advance the study of the region’s historical and intellectual heritage while fostering international academic cooperation and scholarly exchange.
