Iranian Parliamentary Delegation Visits the Center

A delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran, headed by Amir-Hossein Sabeti, a representative of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament) of Iran and a member of its Cultural Commission, visited the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center.

Muhammadiyev, Deputy Director of the Center, welcomed the distinguished guests and introduced them to the exhibitions at the Center’s museum.

The delegation members were provided with detailed information about the Center’s efforts to conduct in-depth research into the rich scholarly and spiritual legacy of the region’s great scholars, particularly Imam al-Bukhari, preserve rare manuscripts, and advance research activities in the field of Islamic heritage and source studies.

Amir-Hossein Sabeti highly praised the valuable sources and historical exhibits preserved at the Center’s museum and expressed his best wishes for the continued success of Uzbekistan’s efforts to preserve and promote its Islamic cultural and scholarly heritage at the international level.

The delegation was accompanied by Hassan Safarkhani, Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Uzbekistan.
