Scientific Cooperation to Enter a New Phase

Shovosil Ziyodov, Director of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, received Dr. Harun Anay, a researcher at Marmara University, Türkiye.

During the meeting, the current state of scientific relations between the two institutions and prospects for further expanding cooperation were discussed in detail. Particular attention was paid to joint research on rare manuscripts, implementation of collaborative research projects, and professional development and academic exchange among specialists.

The participants also agreed to take the cooperation established under the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2019 to a new level. In particular, the parties discussed actively involving leading scholars and researchers from Marmara University in the International Imam Bukhari Scholarship Program.

For reference: Marmara University is one of Türkiye’s most prestigious higher education institutions. It has more than 2,800 faculty members and approximately 80,000 students.
