Today, participants of the international summer school titled “Discover the Ancient Cities of New Uzbekistan: Learn the Language and Culture!”, organized by the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages for international students to study the Uzbek language and culture, as well as the history, geography, and economy of Uzbekistan, visited the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center.

Deputy Director O. Mukhammadiyev provided the guests with detailed information about the history of the Center’s establishment, the activities of its departments, and the exhibits displayed in its museum.

This was followed by a roundtable discussion, during which the international students shared information about the educational institutions where they are currently studying, the reasons for their visit to Uzbekistan, and the goals they hope to achieve during their stay.

The discussion took place in a warm and engaging atmosphere and featured an interesting exchange of questions and answers. The guests expressed their appreciation for Uzbekistan’s strong emphasis on education, its peace and stability, environmental awareness, rich historical heritage, inscriptions found on ancient monuments, and distinctive national architecture, all of which have sparked great interest among them.
