Indonesian Recipients of the Imam Bukhari International Scholarship at the Center

As part of the Imam Bukhari International Scholarship Program, two Indonesian researchers have arrived at the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center to undertake a research fellowship: Dr. Ahmad Hawashi Mahfudz Sain from the IIQ Jakarta and Shamsul Iyadi.

The scholarship recipients were received by the Director of the Center, Prof. Dr. Shovosil Ziyodov, and shared their research plans, as well as the key objectives and tasks they intend to pursue as part of their academic work.

Sh. Ziyodov highly appreciated the researchers’ chosen topics and familiarized them with the Center’s activities, as well as the facilities and opportunities available to researchers.

The visiting researchers expressed their sincere gratitude for the warm welcome and noted with great appreciation that they were delighted to have been given such a valuable opportunity.

In accordance with the program established for the scholarship recipients, the Indonesian researchers will have access to rare manuscript sources preserved in the Center’s collections and make use of its library resources. They will also familiarize themselves with the activities of related research institutions in Uzbekistan, visit the country’s historic cities, and participate in roundtable discussions and academic presentations.
