The Rector of Izmir Katip Çelebi University in Turkey, Professor Dr. Saffet Köse, visited the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center.
The guest was received by the Director of the Center, Shovosil Ziyodov, who spoke about the center’s areas of activity, achievements, and cooperation with scientific institutions in Turkey.
Professor Saffet Köse expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and provided information about the university he leads.
This prestigious educational institution in Turkey was established in 2010 and currently has 13 faculties, 3 institutes, and 5 vocational schools. Today, nearly 20,000 students are studying in various fields such as medicine, theology, engineering, economics, arts, and social sciences, with more than a thousand highly qualified professors and lecturers teaching there.
During the meeting, discussions were held on implementing joint scientific research projects between the Center and Izmir Katip Çelebi University, organizing symposiums, roundtable discussions, and other scientific forums, as well as establishing student and specialist exchange programs. It was noted that both sides share common goals, aspirations, and commitments to developing mutual cooperation.
Professor Saffet Köse emphasized that the discussion was very beneficial, engaging, and lively, expressing firm confidence in the strengthening of future relations.
