The work of Uzbek craftsmen is embodied in the Malaysian Museum of Islamic Arts

During the visit of the delegation of the Imam Bukhari and Imam Moturidi International Scientific Research Centers to Malaysia, a meeting was held at the Malaysian Museum of Islamic Art. Issues of promoting the ancient and rich history of Uzbekistan and the potential of pilgrimage tourism were discussed with the museum management.

It is worth noting that skilled craftsmen from Uzbekistan participated in the construction of the Malaysian Museum of Islamic Arts. An average of 110,000 tourists from all over the world visit this place every year.

The museum houses models and exhibits related to Uzbekistan. These include models of the Bibi Khanum Mosque, the Imam Bukhari Complex, the Kalon Mosque and the Mir Arab Madrasah, ancient manuscripts, and historical costumes.

The leadership of the Malaysian Museum of Islamic Art expressed its readiness to cooperate with Uzbek research institutions.
