Indonesia’s Scientific Institutions Ready to Collaborate with the Center

A delegation led by Megawati Sukarnoputri, the fifth President of the Republic of Indonesia and Chair of the National Agency for Research and Innovation, visited the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center.

The distinguished guests were informed about the activities of the Center’s museum and the ongoing research and translation work related to the works of Imam Bukhari.

During the meeting, the head of the delegation praised the Center’s activities and the scientific research and translation efforts being carried out. She expressed her satisfaction with the opportunity to closely familiarize the Uzbek people with the works of great scholars and thinkers and emphasized the importance of deeply studying and understanding them. She proposed establishing cooperation to translate all of Imam Bukhari’s works into the Indonesian language.

Ms. Sukarnoputri, as the head of her country’s National Agency for Research and Innovation, announced her preparedness for negotiations to establish and develop strong cooperation in various scientific fields.

At the conclusion of the visit, Megawati Sukarnoputri left a note in the Honorary Guest Book.
