Acknowledgement by British scientist

An international roundtable on the theme “Innovative Approaches to the Scientific Heritage of Imam Bukhari” was held at the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center. The leadership and scientific staff of the Center, teachers and students of the Hadith school, and British Islamic scholars participated in the event.

During the event, the director of the Center, Shovosil Ziyodov, provided detailed information on the activities carried out by the Center to study and translate the works of Imam Bukhari into Uzbek, as well as to promote his works widely. The scientific staff presented the first ever Uzbek translations of the books “The Ethics of the Pious People” and “The Book of Abundance of Goodness” by the famous hadith scholar.

The participants highly praised the efforts being made to study and promote the rich spiritual heritage of Imam Bukhari in our country, as well as the successes achieved by the Center in its ongoing activities as a result of these efforts.

Horun Ibrahim Sidat, a leading expert in Islamic theology, law, mysticism, and social sciences at the Cardiff University (UK) Center for Islamic Studies, emphasized the author’s great contribution to translating works into Uzbek and providing comprehensive interpretations with deep scholarly insights to the younger generation.

Dr. Ismoil Adam Patel, a PhD from the University of Leeds (UK) and co-founder of the non-governmental organization “Friends of Al-Aqsa,” highlighted the crucial importance of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center in protecting Islam from various challenges and turmoil in today’s rapidly changing world. He stressed the need for not only the inhabitants of Movarounnahr, but all Muslims to become more familiar with the works of Imam Bukhari, and noted that the research being carried out at the Center would be highly beneficial in this regard. He also donated his own collection of works to the Center library.
