As previously reported, a delegation consisting of representatives of the centers of Islamic civilization in Uzbekistan, Imam Bukhari, Imam Motrudiy, and Imam Termiziy International Scientific Research Centers are currently visiting Turkey with practical purposes.
During the visit, activities of museums and libraries in the country are being closely studied, along with various cultural and presentation events being organized in major scientific institutions.
In particular, our centers’ activities and publications dedicated to the recently published works were presented at the largest – National Library in Ankara. Yoldoshxon Isayev, an expert of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, provided information on the results achieved in the library management of the center.
Members of the delegation presented the newly published books by the centers. The “Pearl of Uzbekistan” collection, consisting of religious and secular literature imported from Uzbekistan, was displayed at the library.
The next event took place at the Faculty of Theology of Ankara State University. In a seminar attended by professors and lecturers, information was provided on the establishment of the Center for the Study of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, information on the library located there, activities of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, and the presentation of the latest publications. Y. Isayev presented translations and explanations of Imam Bukhari’s recently prepared works “Xalqu afʼolil ibod” and “Kitobuz zuafois sagʻir.” At the end of the presentation, the new publications of the center were presented to the faculty library.
The delegation members also visited the Faculty of Theology at Yildirim Beyazit University in Ankara. During the meeting, information was provided about the activities of the centers, and discussions were held on further strengthening cooperation relations.
Another educational event was held at the Research Center for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA). Presentations on the activities of the centers were made here. Bakhitior Ibotov, an expert of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, delivered a lecture on the achievements and publications of the Center, providing detailed information on the first translations of the great scholar’s works “Xalqu afʼolil ibod” and “Kitobuz zuafois sagʻir” in the Uzbek language.
During the event, there was also a photo exhibition, a media event (focused on attracting and engaging in collaborations) and the presentation of the “Encyclopedia of Uzbekistan’s luminaries.”
