An overview of tourism potential

“Travel around Uzbekistan!” On the basis of the program, a domestic tourism fair was organized in Samarkand on August 21.

The Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center also participated with a stand on pilgrimage tourism in the event held within the framework of the implementation of the Decree of the head of our state on January 12 of this year “On measures to sharply increase the flow of foreign tourists to the Republic and to further accelerate domestic tourism”. Books and brochures published by the Center, examples of Arabic calligraphy and Islamic calligraphy, as well as photos of the region’s pilgrimage tourism potential were displayed.

The participants of the fair recognized the attention paid to the consistent development of the industry in the following years in our country, including the significant work being done on the more effective use of the wide opportunities of pilgrimage tourism.

It was noted that the event is of practical importance in widening the prospects of pilgrimage tourism in the region.
