It is important to develop cooperation

On July 24, an online dialogue was organized between the leaders of the two institutions regarding the development of cooperation with the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center and the Institute of Islam Наdhari. In addition to the representatives of the parties, the rector of the School of Hadith Science, Barot Amonov, also took part in it.

The director of the center, Shovosil Ziyodov, recognized the results of mutual practical cooperation established as a result of the efforts of the heads of states, and recalled with pleasure the visit of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anvar Ibrahim, to the Center in May of this year. At the moment, large-scale works are being carried out in connection with the implementation of the adopted Roadmap for the implementation of the agreements reached at the end of this visit.

Based on the memorandum signed in 2021, a number of prestigious events are being held in cooperation with the Center and the Institute. Online seminars, scientific-practical web forums, international conferences and roundtable discussions were organized in cooperation. Several Malaysian researchers are interning at the Center under the Imam Bukhari International Scholarship Program.

Director of the Institute of Islam Hadhari, Fariza Sham, noted that the current state of cooperation is preparing a solid ground for further development of relations and more efficient use of opportunities, and is in line with the interests of both parties. During the dialogue, a number of practical proposals were made to take cooperation to a new level. These include the publication of an international collection of scientific articles of scientists on the topic “Contribution of Movarounnahr Muhaddith scholars to Islamic civilization”, publication of researchers’ scientific works in journals founded by the parties, holding a series of online seminars. Also, the initiative to establish an exchange of staff by introducing an inter-institutional joint research grant was fully supported. The technical and practical aspects of the suggestions and comments were discussed.

Among the issues discussed, an agreement was reached to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Institute of Islam Hadhari and the School of Hadith Studies in the near future.
