Reforms are the basis of industry development

On May 17, an international symposium dedicated to the Hanafi-Mаturidi interpretation of Islam began in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
In addition to the host country, representatives of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, the Russian Federation, Afghanistan, Indonesia and our country also tооk part in the two-day conference, held under the auspices of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.

The prestigious symposium was attended by more than fifty Islamic scholars, representatives of religious authorities and experts in this field, the head of the Center’s department, Doctor of Philosophy in History (PhD) Shukurillo Umarov and researcher, Doctor of Historical Sciences (PhD) Jonibek Jumaev gave lectures on the topic “Intellectual and Narrative Evidence in the Teachings of Imam Maturidi” and “Exploring the Legacy of Imam Bukhari and Imam Mаturidi in Uzbekistan”.The researchers provided information about the significant work carried out in Uzbekistan to study and promote the scientific heritage of great scientists, including the translation and publication of their works, searching for and obtaining copies of their books stored in foreign libraries, as well as improving the place where they settled forever and other good activities.

In addition, they noted that in recent years, widespread propaganda of the scientific heritage of thinkers among our people has reached a new level. In particular, the employees noted the achievements achieved as a result of the scientific activities of the Center, and also presented new published books. The participants of the conference noted that the consistent reforms being carried out in this regard in our country spread widely and became an important factor in the development of the religious and educational sphere.

The organizers were given a set of new publications of the Center.

The symposium ended on May 18.
