The representative of our country was a guest in Algeria

We have reported that Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center researchers are participating in the seminar on the topic “Sufi chanting: Tune of Revolution and Melodies of Resistance” as part of the International Cultural Festival for Sufi chanting in of Algeria. On the next day of the seminar, Shukurillo Umarov, head of the Center’s department, gave a lecture on the topic “The role of Sufism in Islamic society”.

In his lecture, the scientist gave detailed information about the history of Sufism, pirs and mystics. The speaker also touched upon the types of sects spread in the regions and listed their tasks and goals.
After the lecture, Sh.Umarov gave an interview for the “Algeria Guest” program of the “Algeria” TV channel. In it, the representative of our country described the details of the visit and commented on the developing cultural and educational relations between the two countries.
