On November 15, an international conference was held on the theme “Central Asia – Our Common Home\u00bb in Tashkent.<\/span><\/p>\n

The conference was attended by several state and non-governmental organizations in Uzbekistan, as well as leading experts of international organizations.<\/span><\/p>\n

In particular, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of the Independent States of the Russian Federation and compatriots living abroad and the Federal Agency for International Humanitarian Cooperation (“\u0420\u043e\u0441 \u0441\u043e\u0442\u0440\u0443\u0434\u043d\u0438\u0447\u0435\u0441\u0442\u0432\u043e “) M. Bryukhanov and Secretary of the China Association of Friendship Relations with the Central Asian States Hu Chunmei took part.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event mainly focused on the issues of strengthening regional cooperation with the Central Asian states, expanding cultural and humanitarian exchanges, strengthening the role of public diplomacy in strengthening bilateral relations and The tasks of national cultural centers, friendship societies other relevant issues in its implementation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shovosil Ziyodov director of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center also participated and made a speech on the theme “Historical roots of religious tolerance in Uzbekistan” at the international conference.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It is important noting that inter-ethnic, inter-state integration processes are intensifying, and ensuring interfaith tolerance is a pressing issue today, not only for Uzbekistan but also for all countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this regard, at the international conference, the opinions of experts of relevant organizations and agencies of Uzbekistan and foreign countries in this field were heard and the issues of joint work were discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n

We would like to remind you that on the 16 November international conference dedicated to \u00abthe International Day of Tolerance” within the framework\u00a0\u201cWeek of Tolerance\u201d was organized by under the Cabinet of Ministers Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendship with Foreign Countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 16 November, Conference participants are expected to visit Samarkand and the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center.<\/span><\/p>\n
