The person you see in the picture is Abraham Gemedji. He is currently acting Advisor on religious issues of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey in Uzbekistan Mehmet Surayyo. Our dear guest visited the IBISRC for the second time. During his first visit, he had made acquainted with the activities of the center and made impressed by the conditions created here. During the interview with the director of the center, the guest gave a lot of information about Islamic research centers and book funds in Turkey. He also had said that the Center would support research initiatives in Turkish institutions and share experiences with them.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is noteworthy that Ibrahim Gemidji\u2019s interest and respect for our country is very high. It monitors the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan in all areas, including in the area of \u200b\u200breligious education. He wants to contribute to the work is being done in this regard.<\/span><\/p>\n

On September 9, Ibraham Gemedji came to our IBISRC to donate more than 60 books. The guest presented the 44-volume Islamic Encyclopedia published by the Turkish Religion Foundation, the 8-volume Turkish translation, and commentary of the “Sahih Bukhari” book, the 7-volume book “Islamic Hadiths” and the rare manuscript Book of Tawhid. These books will be a valuable resource for future researchers, both in size and in meaning.<\/span><\/p>\n
