As part of the 12th International Cultural Festival of Sufi Melodies<\/strong> and the International Scientific Symposium<\/strong> being held in Algeria, the delegation of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center has been conducting a series of meetings and discussions with foreign scholars and representatives of academic institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the sidelines of the symposium\u2019s panel sessions and related events, scholarly discussions were held with a number of distinguished Islamic studies scholars and researchers from various countries, including Roberto Tottoli<\/strong>, Rector of the University of Naples, the renowned Iraqi writer and journalist Ahmad Jasim Al-Zubaidi<\/strong>, and the prominent Turkish manuscript scholar Bakir \u015eahin<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

During these exchanges, participants discussed prospects for strengthening academic cooperation between the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center and counterpart institutions abroad, as well as opportunities for sharing expertise in the fields of Islamic civilization history and manuscript studies. Foreign scholars were also provided with a detailed overview of the Center\u2019s ongoing research projects and academic initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, representatives of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center took part in a special international exhibition organized at the Center for the Study of Islamic Sciences and Civilization in Laghouat as part of the festival program. The exhibition featured rare ancient manuscripts, historical sources, and examples of calligraphic art characteristic of Algeria and the broader Arab world.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Center\u2019s scholars closely examined the exhibits and engaged in professional exchanges with Algerian specialists on the preservation and digitization of manuscripts, as well as on methods for studying their codicological characteristics.<\/span><\/p>\n
