The Uzbekistan delegation, currently on an official visit to Algeria, was formally received by Sheikh Mohamed Maamoun Al-Qasimi Al-Hassani, the Minister of Religious Affairs of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria and Head of the Djamaa el-Djazair (Great Mosque of Algiers) Complex. Held within the framework of the International Sufi Sama Cultural Festival in the city of Laghouat, the meeting was also attended by representatives of the conference directorate and international scholars.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the meeting, Dr. Shovosil Ziyodov, Director of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center and Doctor of Historical Sciences, provided a detailed overview of the Center\u2019s recent academic activities. His remarks specifically highlighted research initiatives in Islamic history and source studies, the study of the scientific heritage of great scholars, recent publications, and the expanding scope of the Center’s international relations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sheikh Mohamed Maamoun Al-Qasimi Al-Hassani acquainted the Uzbek scholars with the organizational structure of the Djamaa el-Djazair Complex\u2014considered the host country\u2019s largest religious and educational center\u2014along with its affiliated research institutes, extensive library collection, and modern educational facilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the discussion, the parties reached a preliminary agreement on establishing mutually beneficial scientific and academic cooperation, jointly researching Islamic civilization and values, and implementing prospective collaborative projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

With this, the scientific visit of the Uzbek scholars to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria drew to a close.<\/span><\/p>\n
