During the discussion, the scholar exchanged views with the Center\u2019s research staff on contemporary trends in Islamic finance, Shariah law, and social responsibility. She provided detailed insights into her experience in implementing Shariah compliance within Islamic banking and financial systems, as well as the internal audit methods she developed based on the principles of Maq\u0101\u1e63id al-Shar\u012b\u2018ah (\u201cObjectives of Shariah\u201d).<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Sheyla Yusuf also highlighted the contribution of Islamic finance to sustainable development and addressed the enhancement of waqf and zakat systems as instruments for promoting social justice.<\/span><\/p>\n
