The second day of the international symposium on \u201cOwnership and Dissemination of Manuscript Works: Imam Bukhari and Hadith Manuscripts,\u201d<\/em> held at the Center, continued in an atmosphere of high scholarly engagement and featured a series of substantive and insightful presentations.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

During the sessions of this day, manuscript heritage was analyzed using new scholarly approaches, and certain copies of Hadith manuscripts\u2014particularly the various transcriptional versions of Sahih al-Bukhari<\/em> from different periods and regions\u2014were examined and compared from an academic perspective.<\/p>\n

During the presentations, it was emphasized that ownership notes in manuscripts are not merely indicators of possession, but also important markers of the development of knowledge, the culture of book reading, and the preservation of intellectual heritage. Scholars highlighted that these notes provide valuable insights into the interactions of past scholars, practices of book exchange and authorization, as well as the relationships between medieval academic schools, the activities of book owners, and the geographical circulation of manuscripts.<\/p>\n

The discussions also addressed the integration of scholarly research, the creation of a manuscript database, and the enhancement of international collaboration among researchers.<\/p>\n

According to the symposium participants, the conference not only contributes to a deeper study of Imam Bukhari\u2019s heritage but also marks a new stage in the investigation of manuscript culture within the Islamic world.<\/p>\n
