On June 27, a delegation of around 20 representatives from leading Indonesian tourism organizations operating in the \u201cUmrah Plus\u201d and pilgrimage tourism sectors visited the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center as part of their trip to Samarkand.<\/span><\/p>\n

The guests became acquainted with the Center\u2019s scientific research activities, museum exhibitions, ancient manuscripts, and rich spiritual heritage. They received detailed information about the prominent status of Imam Bukhari\u2019s work \u201cSahih al-Bukhari\u201d and its significance in the Islamic world. Members of the delegation highly appreciated Uzbekistan\u2019s potential in pilgrimage tourism, referring to the country as \u201ca sacred source of knowledge.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

During the meeting, the parties discussed establishing cooperation in organizing practical visits for Indonesian citizens within the framework of \u201cUmrah Plus\u201d to the centers of Islamic science and enlightenment in Uzbekistan.<\/span><\/p>\n

This visit played a significant role in increasing attention to the study of the scholarly heritage of great Islamic scholars and promoting Uzbekistan more widely as one of the key destinations in the Muslim world.<\/span><\/p>\n
