An event on the topic \u201cReligious Tolerance and Social Harmony\u201d was held at the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center in cooperation with Turkey\u2019s 19 May University. The event was attended by the prominent Turkish scholar, rector of 19 May University, Professor Fatma Aydin, university representatives, and the Center\u2019s scientific team.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The practical importance of the concept of ensuring citizens\u2019 freedom of conscience and the state policy in the religious sphere in Uzbekistan was particularly emphasized at the event. It was noted that a number of effective measures are being implemented in our country to establish religious tolerance, respect every person\u2019s freedom of conscience, and ensure peaceful and harmonious relations among representatives of different religions. Following this, the recently adopted Concept has created a legal basis for prioritizing religious freedom in Uzbekistan. This undoubtedly serves to further strengthen religious tolerance and social harmony.<\/span><\/p>\n

The significance of the cooperation between the two institutions was also highlighted. The importance of scientific collaboration, especially joint projects on the study of manuscripts and the works of scholars, was acknowledged, emphasizing the preservation of the true values of Islam and religious heritage.<\/span><\/p>\n

Participants proposed initiatives to deepen research aimed at promoting religious tolerance and freedom of conscience internationally and to advocate religious tolerance at the global level. Scholars from the Center and the university highly appreciated the scientific studies and their concrete results, noting their likely important role in solving these issues on an international scale in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the event, participants shared their experiences and views on scientific and practical directions aimed at ensuring religious tolerance and social harmony, as well as strengthening unity among various religions and cultures.<\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere, rich in questions and answers, and was marked by lively scientific discussions.<\/span><\/p>\n
