{"id":42568,"date":"2025-05-20T09:59:59","date_gmt":"2025-05-20T04:59:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bukhari.uz\/?p=42568"},"modified":"2025-05-20T09:59:59","modified_gmt":"2025-05-20T04:59:59","slug":"islamic-heritage-and-enlightenment-uzbekistans-presentation-in-algeria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bukhari.uz\/?p=42568&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Islamic Heritage and Enlightenment: Uzbekistan\u2019s Presentation in Algeria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Within the framework of the Uzbekistan delegation\u2019s visit to Algeria, a presentation was held on the topic \u201cReligious Enlightenment and Cultural Heritage: Uzbekistan\u2019s Contribution to the Development of Islamic Civilization.\u201d Leading scientific centers, manuscript and historical archives representatives, researchers, and local scholars from Algeria participated in the event.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bukhari.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/jazoir16052.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Attendees were provided with detailed information about the recent reforms in Uzbekistan aimed at ensuring citizens\u2019 freedom of conscience, strengthening religious tolerance and revealing the true humanitarian essence of Islam. In particular, it was emphasized that state-religion relations are based on a purely educational approach and priority is given to scientific rigor, transparency and international cooperation in religious education.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">From this perspective, the activities of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center were highlighted as one of the key results of reforms in the country. The Center\u2019s main goals and objectives include deeply studying the scholarly heritage left by the great muhaddith Imam Bukhari and other representatives of the Islamic world, conveying this knowledge to the broad public, increasing the interest and respect for the religion among the younger generation based on scientific and educational grounds and strengthening international scientific relations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bukhari.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/jazoir16053.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">During the presentation, a video was shown about the Center\u2019s activities, scientific research, international cooperation directions and promising projects. This material aroused great interest among Algerian participants and helped them form a clear understanding of Uzbekistan\u2019s significant contribution to preserving and promoting Islamic civilization.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">It is noteworthy that the recently adopted Concept on Ensuring Citizens\u2019 Freedom of Conscience and State Policy in the Religious Sphere of the Republic of Uzbekistan is widely recognized not only nationally but also internationally.
