In Samarkand, on the occasion of the 1155th anniversary of the birth of Imam Maturidi, an international scientific and practical conference titled \u201cMaturidiyyah \u2013 The Doctrine of Tolerance, Moderation and Enlightenment\u201d was held. During the event, a group of distinguished guests, including the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Osama Azhar, the Grand Mufti of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Muhammad Nazir Ayyad and Dr. Ali Juma, a member of the Al-Azhar Scholars Council of the Arab Republic of Egypt, visited the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center.<\/span><\/p>\n

Initially, the guests paid their respects to the memory of Imam Bukhari by reciting prayers in his honor.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Following this, the guests were given a detailed tour of the Center’s museum, where they were introduced to valuable manuscripts, historical artifacts and exhibits related to the life and scholarly work of Imam Bukhari.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

During the visit, there were warm exchanges between the Egyptian delegation and the Center’s officials. The discussions focused on expanding scientific cooperation, promoting Islamic teachings of peace and tolerance and raising the younger generation on a sound doctrinal path.<\/span><\/p>\n

The guests, especially members of the Al-Azhar Scholars, spoke about their deep interest in the scholarly heritage of their great ancestors and its relevance to contemporary social life. They emphasized that deeply studying and honoring the scientific legacy of great scholars like Imam Bukhari is a source of pride for every Muslim.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the visit, another meaningful event took place \u2013 a fruit tree planting ceremony in the Center\u2019s garden. The honorary guests from Egypt, along with the Center\u2019s leadership, planted saplings together. Each sapling, planted as a symbol of peace, unity, resilience and spiritual solidarity, represents a hopeful future, friendly relations, and a new phase of religious and educational cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation members left their expressions of gratitude and sincere wishes in the Guestbook. They praised the efforts in Uzbekistan to preserve Islamic heritage and promote it on a global scale.<\/span><\/p>\n
