A delegation from Indonesia’s Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University visited the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center.<\/span><\/p>\n

These days, the delegation members are in Uzbekistan as part of the educational and tourism program “On the Path of Studying the Legacy of Imam Bukhari, the Leader of Hadith Science: 1,000 Indonesian Researchers.” The program has been developed to widely promote Uzbekistan\u2019s tourism potential among the Indonesian people and to expand academic and cultural ties. As part of the initiative, several scientific and practical events are planned.<\/span><\/p>\n

The delegation was greeted by Shovosil Ziyodov, the head of the center, who introduced them to the museum.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the visit, a meeting was held between the leadership of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center and Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the beginning of the discussion, the guests were briefed on the center\u2019s activities, achievements, and history, followed by a video presentation showcasing its current capabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Ismatu Ropi, Chairman of the University Development Committee, who provided detailed insights into the university. Located in Jakarta, it is one of Indonesia’s leading Islamic higher education institutions, integrating traditional Islamic sciences with modern academic disciplines. The university is named after Syarif Hidayatullah, a prominent Islamic scholar and figure from the Sultanate era od Indonesia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Established in 1957 as the State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN), the institution attained university status in 2002. Today, it offers education in religious studies, social sciences, natural sciences, and technical fields.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the discussions, both parties exchanged views on launching institutional cooperation and jointly implementing the “1,000 Indonesian Researchers on the Path of Imam Bukhari’s Legacy” program. They proposed various initiatives to strengthen ties and collaborate on research projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shovosil Ziyodov emphasized the significance of promoting Imam Bukhari\u2019s scholarly legacy, highlighting its role in fostering cooperation, cultural exchange, and pilgrimage tourism.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Ismatu Ropi, drawing on the university\u2019s expertise in scientific research and international collaboration, expressed confidence that studying Imam Bukhari\u2019s legacy would further strengthen Islamic education in Indonesia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Indonesian delegation also expressed their readiness to introduce the center\u2019s projects and research findings to Indonesia\u2019s academic community. It was noted that the university could establish scientific cooperation in nearly ten fields with the center. The Indonesian representatives believe this collaboration will yield concrete academic results and further strengthen cultural and scientific ties between the two nations.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding in the near future, laying the groundwork for joint research projects and academic conferences. This institutional partnership is expected to open new avenues for comprehensive research and widespread promotion of Imam Bukhari\u2019s scientific heritage.<\/span><\/p>\n
