Abdallah Husain Al-Shaalan, representative of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Chairman of the Al-Shaalan Qur\u2019an Research Foundation, met with the Minister of Awqaf of Egypt, Professor Dr. Osama Azhari.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the conversation, issues of cooperation between the Center and this ministry were discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Osama Azhari noted that there is great potential for comprehensively expanding cooperation between the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center and the Egyptian Ministry of Awqaf.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the conversation, the Minister of Awqaf of Egypt noted that reforms in the religious and educational sphere, efforts aimed at spreading common sense and true Islamic values, strengthening security and social stability, and combating extremist ideas, implemented in Uzbekistan under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, are perceived with great satisfaction in the Land of the Pyramids. It was noted that the establishment of new institutions, such as the International Research Centers of Imam Bukhari, Imam Termizi, Imam Moturidi and the Center for Islamic Civilization, will also bring joy to the people of Egypt. It was recognized that this opens up new opportunities for studying the legacy of our scientists, who have made an incomparable contribution to the development of Islamic civilization and are equally dear and respected for both the two countries and the Muslim world as a whole, organizing international conferences, scientific seminars and symposia, exhibitions, promoting the values \u200b\u200bof tolerance, harmony and moderation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The parties exchanged views on the prospects for developing scientific ties and reached an agreement on the earliest possible signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on inter-institutional cooperation. Dr. Osama Azhari also gave permission for the Center to translate his book, \u201cThe Open Truth about Rejecting Religion for Those Who Play with It,\u201d into Uzbek.<\/span><\/p>\n
