An educational meeting on the topic “Radicalism – a threat to the stability of society” was held at the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages \u200b\u200bby the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, based on the idea of \u200b\u200b”Enlightenment against ignorance.”<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At the event, which was attended by the institute’s leadership, professors, teachers, and students, the Center’s scientific staff emphasized that in today’s globalization process, combating terrorist forces and movements armed with hateful ideas that threaten the lives of the peoples of the world and attempt to disrupt international peace and tranquility is one of the urgent tasks facing humanity.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Indeed, extremism and terrorism have become a grave threat to humanity. Despite the ongoing fight against religious fanaticism and various spiritual threats, there are still those who sympathize with destructive gangs. It is especially sad that most of them are young people.<\/span><\/p>\n

Uzbekistan has an active and strong position in maintaining peace in the world, protecting the interests of different peoples and ethnic groups, combating terrorism, religious fanatics, and various malicious groups. These aspects are reflected in the reforms being implemented in our country and in relations with countries both near and far on all fronts.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is no secret that today, various spiritual threats are rife in the Internet world, and currents are multiplying that intend to influence our youth with their corrupt ideas. Websites aimed at promoting their baseless beliefs and ideologies are also on the rise.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The event emphasized the need for everyone to work together to combat ignorance with education. Because security is a common phenomenon, and the peace of one individual, family, or state does not mean the peace of all. The threat is equally dangerous for everyone.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is especially appropriate to pay special attention to the education of our youth. In particular, the issue of unorganized youth is extremely urgent. They are turning to various social networks to find answers to their problems. No one guarantees that they are free from danger. In this sense, it is permissible to strengthen the spirituality of our youth, to form and constantly strengthen their sense of self-confidence, ideological immunity.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At the end of the event, a presentation of books published at the Center was held, and new literature was distributed to active students.<\/span><\/p>\n
