Nowadays, the delegation of our country, consisting of leaders and employees of Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, Imam Moturidi International Scientific Research Center and High School for Hadith Science, is on a scientific-practical trip to Malaysia.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As part of the program, the members of the delegation took part in the international conference on “Modern approaches on studying the scientific heritage of Imam Bukhari” held at the Institute of Islam Hadhari of Malaysia on October 22.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the opening of the conference, the director of Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center Shovosil Ziyodov acknowledged with pleasure that mutual practical cooperation relations established as a result of bilateral efforts and reforms of the heads of states are getting stronger.<\/span><\/p>\n

The speaker also said that the scientific community was very pleased with the visit of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to the Centre in May of this year. \u00a0He emphasized that the cooperation established since 2020 with several Malaysian scientific institutions, such as the t Institute of Islamic Understanding (IKIM), the Institute of Islam Hadhari (IIH) and the Universiti Islam Sains Malaysia (USIM) since 2020 have been bearing great results.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sh. Ziyodov also gave a speech at the conference on the topic “The role of the work “Birr al-Walidayn” (being dutifull to parents) in the legacy of Imam Bukhari.”<\/span><\/p>\n

In Islam, doing good to one’s parents is one of the greatest acts of worship. Imam Bukhari, in his work “Birr al-Walidayn,” extensively illuminates the importance of a comprehensive, good relationship with parents. In this treatise, through hadiths, it is often emphasized that respecting parents and kindness to them is a sacred duty for every Muslim.<\/span><\/p>\n

The speaker mentioned that the author’s work was translated into Uzbek for the first time by the Center, and the basis for this was a copy preserved by one of the later scholars, Imam Muhammad Abdulhay Kattani, who preserved the book and taught it to his students.<\/span><\/p>\n

The conference participants emphasized that the study of works with high significance and great educational value for the Islamic community, such as \u201cBirr al-Walidayn\u201d, occupies an important place in the deep study of scientific heritage of scientists, profound understanding of his true nature, and promotion to the public in its original state.<\/span><\/p>\n
