On July 20 of this year, a scientific-practical conference on the topic “Imam Bukhari’s contribution to the development of Islamic civilization” was held at the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center under the Cabinet of Ministers in cooperation with the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nAt the conference organized in connection with the birthday of the great Muhaddith, Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, the management and scientific team of the School of Hadith Science, professors and teachers of higher educational institutions in Samarkand, scientists of the Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences, the Office of Muslims and the state of Samarkand region and representatives of public organizations participated.<\/span>
\nAt the opening of the conference, the director of Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center Shovosil Ziy\u043edov presented the innovative museum concept project named after the great scholar.<\/span>
\nAt the event, it was noted that the entire Muslim world has accumulated rich experience in the field of Islamic sciences with a long history, of course, the contribution of the ancient Movarounnahr and modern Central Asian thinkers is incomparable, and the innovative museum plays an important role in preserving the scientific heritage left by our scholars and passing it on to the next generation.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nThe life of Imam Bukhari, his scientific career, and the history of that time will be displayed using modern information technologies in the museum, which is being established in the newly constructed complex. The purpose of its establishment is to make the complex not only a place of pilgrimage, but also a center of enlightenment that conquers people’s hearts with knowledge and wisdom, and especially helps young people to find the right path in life. In the creation of the museum, the experiences of the Prophet Muhammad and Islamic Civilization Museum in Medina, the Panorama 1453 History Museum in Istanbul, the Bursa Conquest Museum, the Museum of the History of Turkish Peoples in Ankara, the Louvre Museum in Paris and the British Museum were used.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sh. Ziy\u043edov gave detailed information about each section of the “Imam Bukhari Innovation Museum” consisting of 9 pavilions – their purpose, topics, and content.<\/span>
\nThe participants noted that the large-scale reforms carried out in the religious and educational sphere in Uzbekistan in recent years have been highly appreciated not only by the scholars of our country, but also by the mature representatives of the entire Islamic world, and have created a solid foundation for in-depth study and wide promotion of the scientific heritage of scholars and thinkers who made a significant contribution to the development of Islamic sciences.The establishment of international research centers at the initiative of the head of our state was a significant step in this regard.<\/span>
\nIn particular, the memory and legacy of Imam Bukhari, the leader of believers in hadith science, is deeply respected, and systematic work is being carried out to study him. The place where the Sultan of Muhaddith settled forever is being rebuilt, and the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center is operating next to it. Until today, 77 books and popular pamphlets have been prepared for publication by the scientific staff of this institution, and 40 unique works of our great scholars have been translated into Uzbek. More than a thousand scientific articles were published in local and foreign publications.<\/span><\/p>\n

The organized conference also demonstrated once again the character of Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Ismail Bukhari, who played an incomparable place in the development of Islamic science and culture, as a great commentator and mujtahid. In it, the essence of Islam, based on the principles of goodness, peace and humanity, was repeatedly mentioned, and the creative works carried out in the field of perpetuating the names of great scholars and thinkers who grew up in our country, researching and popularizing their life and scientific and spiritual heritage were recognized with deep satisfaction.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe participants particularly emphasized the need to more consistently study the life and spiritual legacy of Bukhari, who gathered the hadiths from the authoritative sources of Islam, selected the most reliable ones, and divided them into a book, divided into separate topics, and the need to promote it more widely among the public. During the conference, participants got acquainted with the activities of the International Research Center of Imam Bukhari and the School of Hadith Studies, as well as with the process of construction of the Imam Bukhari Complex.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nAs a sign of deep respect for the memory and legacy of the scientist, the participants performed khatm of the masterpiece \u201cSahih \u0430l-Bukhari\u201d at the Imam Bukhari complex. Hands were opened in prayer asking for peace, prosperity and prosperity for our country, the Islamic world and all humanity.<\/span><\/p>\n
