On October 17, an international online round table was held on the topic \u201cImam Moturidi is the founder of the refutation against errant sects\u201d in the cooperation with the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research center and Imam Moturidi International Scientific Research Center. At the round table Ahmad Sa’d Damanhuri, senior researcher of the Imam Moturidi International Scientific Research Center, Doctor of Theological Sciences made a speech.<\/span> It is true that other scholars, including Imam Razi (d. 106\/724), wrote \u201cTafsir Razi\u201d several centuries ago. But Imam Moturidi’s Tafsir is considered better than him. Because in his work the \u201cMushaf of the Qur’an\u201d is interpreted by the words of the Prophet himself, the Sunnah and the words of the Companions and followers. This is the rule of the scholars of Tafsir Ahl al-Sunnah.<\/span><\/p>\n Imam Moturidi relied on both mind and narrative in his interpretation. He supported each opinion with documents and evidence. For example, if he had in mind the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), or the words of his companions and followers, he first of all paid attention to the isnad.<\/span> The scientist, interpreting the Holy Qur’an, approached this difficult work based on the life and social processes of the people of that time. Due to his deep understanding of all the subtle aspects, his ability to guide the lost people to the right path with the help of the Qur’an, Sunnah and Ijtihad was extremely high. \nAmong other major works, Imam Moturidi (d. 332\/944) wrote the \u201cTawilatul Qur’an\u201d deals with the interpretation of the Holy Qur’an based on ijtihad and is considered a rare work in this field of science.<\/span><\/p>\n
\nImam Moturidi’s method was also a great connoisseur of the fiqh fields of religion. All scientists expressed the unanimous opinion that it is difficult for a scientist who is not familiar with these two sciences to understand Mushafi Sharif. Being a scholar and Mufti, Imam Moturidi well understood and felt the reality of that time. That is why it was absolutely correct to say that there are three pillars of fatwa.
