The general meaning of the hadith.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nothing in the life of the Prophet the (\ufdfa) was overlooked by the Sahabah.<\/span><\/p>\n

They wanted to know every event and incident related to the life of the Prophet the (\ufdfa), along with every ruling related to the Sharia.<\/span><\/p>\n

One day, one of the Sahabahs said, Haris Ibn Hisham asked the Prophet (\ufdfa): “O Messenger of God, how does revelation come to you? That is, he wanted to know how the revelation would come. “The revelation comes to me sometimes like the sound of a bell.<\/span><\/p>\n

A ringing sound usually refers to the sound made when metal or solid objects collide. Such sounds are audible to the listener and cannot be missed. Our Prophet (\ufdfa) said: The revelation comes to me sometimes like the sound of a bell, and they noted that the revelation was as clear as the sound of a bell.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is a revelation that was revealed between Allah and the Prophet without an intermediary angel bringing the revelation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Prophet (\ufdfa) described the coming of the revelation as “This is what happens when a powerful revelation comes.”<\/span><\/p>\n

According to sources, revelation came in three ways:<\/span><\/p>\n

The absolute submission of the heart of the prophet to whom the revelation is being revealed by God Almighty and the revelation being revealed to his heart. In this case, the angel of revelation does not mediate.<\/span><\/p>\n

The effect on the emotional senses of the prophet during the revelation. In that case, as the sound of a bell will be heard. It is not like other sounds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Revelation brought by an angel. It consists of two parts:<\/span><\/p>\n

a). Subjugation of the inner world of the Prophet – his inner being, his heart to the angel of revelation;<\/span><\/p>\n

b). The angel of revelation coming in the form of a man and face to face with the prophet saying the revelation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sometimes, an angel in human form brings me a revelation and I keep in my mind what he said.”<\/span><\/p>\n

As mentioned above, the revelations came to our Prophet in different ways, and subsequent revelations were sealed in his heart by the grace of Allah.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is said in the Qur’an:<\/span><\/p>\n

(O Prophet), Do not stir your tongue hastily (to commit the Revelation to memory). Surely it is for Us to have you commit it to memory and to recite it. And so when We recite it, follow its recitation attentively; then it will be for Us to explain it. 16-19 verses.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aisha, Ummul Mu’minin said: “I witnessed a revelation come to him on one of the bitterly cold days. Then the Prophet (\ufdfa) was in a state as if he had forgotten everything, and his forehead was drenched in sweat.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Prophet (\ufdfa), paid close attention to the revelations from God and tried to remember every letter and tone of them.<\/span><\/p>\n

When the revelation came to him, nothing around him could distract him. As mentioned above, at such times, his soul was attached to the revelation and completely cut off from the world.<\/span><\/p>\n
