An international scientific seminar on the theme “Imam Bukhari is a great muhaddith” was held at the International Research Center of Imam Bukhari in cooperation with Joybori Kalon Madrasah, School of Hadith Science and Universities of Punjab (Pakistan), Inonu (Turkey) and Utara (Malaysia) on the occasion of the 1250th anniversary of Imam Bukhari’s birth.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nScientific researchers of the Center, representatives of partner institutions, scientists of Imam Termizi International Scientific Research Center, Imam-khatib of “Minor” mosque in Tashkent, Rahmatullah Saifuddinov took part in the offline and online conference.<\/span>
\nAt the seminar, the speakers gave information about the current state of international cooperation in studying the legacy of Imam Bukhari, the contribution of the muhaddith scholar to Islamic sciences as a great mufassir and mujtahid, his jurisprudence, the analysis of hadiths in the work “Al-Jami’ as-sahih”, the narrators of the work, and refuted the objections of those who deny the Sunnah to this work.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nIn fact, deep respect is shown to Imam Bukhari, who made an incomparable contribution to the development of hadith science, and systematic work is being carried out to study his great scientific and spiritual-educational heritage. The name of Imam Bukhari settled forever.Nowadays hid complex is being rebuilt, and the Imam Bukhari International Research Center is operating next to it. 71 books and popular pamphlets were prepared for publication by the scientific staff of this institution, 17 works were translated into Uzbek. More than 14 thousand scientific articles were published in local and foreign publications.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nThe participants of the seminar acknowledged the progress being made and paid attention to the attempts of unhealthy forces to satisfy the narrow geopolitical goals of the Islamic religion in the era of today’s geopolitical processes. At the event, fabrications and slanders about the hadiths of Imam Bukhari and his masterpiece “Sahih al-Bukhari” were strongly condemned, and the correct translation and scientifically based comments of some hadiths objected to by the deniers of the Sunnah were presented.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nThe participants unanimously noted the urgent importance of preserving the authority and honor of our holy religion, showing the peace-loving and humanitarian nature of Islam to the general public in a more comprehensible and popular way, bringing out the immortal spiritual heritage of our ancestors like Imam Bukhari and turning it into the property of all mankind, curbing the destructive activities of those who are vainly trying to devalue Islam in an enlightened way.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the seminar, a number of practical proposals were made regarding the consistent study and wide application of the rich scientific and spiritual heritage left by Imam Bukhari. It was agreed to publish the reports in the form of a collection, and the presented proposals in the form of recommendations.<\/span><\/p>\n
