At the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, an international roundtable discussion on the topic “Medieval Uzbek and Kazakh sources for the study of the history and culture of Central Asia\u00bb was held in cooperation with the Institute of Oriental Studies named after R. Suleymanov of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan.<\/span><\/p>\n

At that event, the scientific staff of the Center, scientists from our country, representatives of the scientific community of the Samarkand region, and researchers from Kazakhstan, Russia, and Turkey took part.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At the opening of the event, the Director of the Center, Doctor of History Shovosil Ziyadov noted that written sources are the main thing for researching the life and work of scholars who lived in Movarounnahr, the history and culture of the peoples of this region. Taking into account the high importance of this, he noted that the coordination of scientific research conducted in Central Asian countries is more urgent than ever.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after B. Suleymanov prof. dr. Duken Masimkhanuli made a speech about the stages of scientific integration of the countries of Central Asia, especially Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan, historical roots, and the core values of our peoples, and recognized further strengthening of scientific relations as an important task of today.<\/span><\/p>\n

The speakers of the event gave detailed information about the manuscript books, historical documents, and sources that illuminate the ethnogenesis of the peoples of the region in the study of the history and culture of Central Asia, the current state of their research, and future tasks.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The participants of the roundtable noted the need to preserve, repair and pass on the sources in their original state to future generations, to create an integrated international system of manuscript funds for the use of their electronic copies, and to establish targeted exchanges.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The event was full of lively discussion and question-and-answer sessions.<\/span><\/p>\n
