Today, the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, Institute of Oriental Studies named after Abu Rayhan Beruni of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center under the Cabinet of Ministers, Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, Imam Moturidi International Research Center, Imam Termezi International Research Center, Center for the Study of Islamic History, Art and Culture of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIS) (IRCICA), In cooperation with the Organization of Education, Science, and Culture of the Islamic World (ICESCO), an international scientific-practical conference on “The contribution of Eastern scholars to Islamic civilization” was held.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

The conference was held online style and in that religious institutions of Muslims of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, scholars of higher education and scientific institutions specializing in Islamic sciences, representatives of religious organizations, prominent scholars, and experts in the field of Malaysia, Egypt, Pakistan, Turkey, Germany, Great Britain, and Iran. and independent researchers have participated.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Representatives of local and influential foreign organizations made speeches at the plenary session devoted to the opening of the conference. And they noted that the reforms in the field of religion and enlightenment in our country provide opportunities for the study and transmission of the rich spiritual heritage of our ancestors to the younger generation and it is the preparation for the promotion of the rich history of our people around the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

The conference was organized based on the activities of four branches. During meetings, several topics on the theme “Study of Islamic sciences in the heritage of Eastern scholars”, “Development of social, natural, and exact sciences in Movarounnahr”, \u201cThe Influence of Muslim Scholars on the Development of World Science, “The contribution of Muslim scholars to world civilization\u00bb were discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

It is known that the scientific heritage, the scientific and philosophical ideas of the thinkers who created in Central Asia and created a unique scientific treasure have served as a solid cornerstone for the development of world science and the development of Islam.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Their rare works have left an indelible mark on the history of world civilization, science, and culture around the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

The high scientific potential of the mature philosophers and scholars of the region has transformed Movarounnahr into a major enlightenment center in the Islamic world where new philosophical and scientific knowledge has been formed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The participants of the conference praised the eternal spiritual value of the religious and secular enlightenment spread by our great ancestors.<\/span><\/p>\n

A total of about 40 reports were presented at the branch meetings of the conference. Otabek Muhammadiev, deputy director of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, Doctor of Philosophy in History (Ph.D.) in this branch of the conference “Scholar of the Center for the Contribution of Muslim Scholars to World Civilization”, and Associate Professor Mohd al Adib, deputy director of the Institute of Islamic Civilization at the National University of Malaysia have moderated.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Several researchers of the Center also took an active part in the conference by simultaneously translating the reports of foreign scholars from English and Arabic into Uzbek.<\/span><\/p>\n

The reports of the participants are planned to be published shortly in the form of a large scientific collection.<\/span><\/p>\n
