An online meeting was held in cooperation between the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center and the Malaysian University of Islamic Studies (USIM) yesterday. The meeting was organized with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Director of the center Shovosil Ziyodov and Director of the University Professor Adnan Muhammad Yusuf and Director of the International Center at the University Mohd Saupi Pauzi and other officials discussed issues of bilateral cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The University of Islamic Science was founded in 1998, is one of Malaysia\u2019s most prestigious higher education institutions, where the model of education is based on the principle of integrating religious sciences with secular sciences. Today, more than 13,000 students, including more than 750 foreigners, study at the university, which teaches 32 disciplines, including Islamic theology and law, science, social sciences, and humanities.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the beginning of the meeting were shown a presentation on the activities of the university and a video about the achievements of the Center.<\/span><\/p>\n

The discussion focused on important issues of effective cooperation, including joint scientific research of Islamic heritage, an international conference on the role of the scientific heritage of Imam Bukhari in educating young people, as well as online seminars, webinars, and lectures on the scientific heritage of Movarounnahr scholars.<\/span><\/p>\n

The participants discussed issues related to the content and practical significance of the draft Memorandum of Cooperation between the two universities.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the talks, the issues were also discussed of participation of Malaysian scientists and experts in the international scholarship program of the Imam Bukhari International Research Center.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the meeting, it was agreed to continue negotiations at the expert level to sign the Memorandum.<\/span><\/p>\n
