U islom olamida eng ko\u02bbp sharafli unvonlar bilan ulug\u02bblangan yagona olimdir. O\u02bbz davridagi ulamolar orasida Moturidiyning obro\u02bb-e\u02bctibori juda yuqori bo\u02bblgan. Unga bejiz \u201cBarcha hanafiy olimlar raisi\u201d unvoni berilmagan.
