The next online seminar was held at the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center in collaboration with the Turkish Institute of Islamic Thought.<\/span><\/p>\n

The seminar was organized in cooperation with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Turkey. It was attended by researchers of the Center, young scientists and researchers of organizations and institutions operating in the field of religion and education in our country.<\/span><\/p>\n

A well-known scholar in theology, hadithology and other religious sciences, the head of the Turkish Institute of Islamic Thought, Professor Mehmet G\u00f6rmez, gave a lecture on the role of \u201cSahih Al-Bukhari\u201d in the development of hadithology and the unique style of the great Muhaddis in the classification of hadiths.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1994, the scientist defended his doctoral dissertation on the theme “Methodological problems in the understanding and interpretation of the Sunnah and Hadith.” He noted that in the course of his scientific work he visited a number of Islamic countries around the world and appealed to many sources dedicated to Imam Bukhari and collected a lot of valuable information.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Thanks to my work, I have visited many countries, in particular Uzbekistan. It was very gratifying to see the respect and reverence for the memory of the great scientists and their scientific heritage in your country. My love for Maverannahr increased, where such great thinkers as Imam Bukhari, Imam Termezi, Ibn Sina, Farabi were brought up. I made sure that Samarkand and Bukhara were once Islamic shrines of enlightenment, knowledge and wisdom,\u201d said Professor G\u00f6rmez.<\/span><\/p>\n

The author of several books such as \u201cThe Sunnah and Understanding of the Hadith\u201d, \u201cFundamental Issues of the Hadith Science\u201d, \u201cReligion and Civilization in the Global World\u201d, \u201cThe Importance and Significance of the Sunnah and Hadith\u201d, Mehmet G\u00f6rmez gave his recommendations to young scholars in the study of hadith.<\/span><\/p>\n
