Collaboration with the Islamic Culture Center of Madrid

The deputy director of the Islamic Culture Center of Madrid, Hussam Siddiq Khoja, who arrived in Uzbekistan to visit historical monuments and sights, together with a group of Kuwaiti tourists visited the Imam Bukhari International Scientific-Research Center.


In the course of the visit, the Director of the Center, Mr. Ziyodov, had a friendly conversation with Husam Siddik Khoja. The leaders of both institutions exchanged information on the activities of their centers. During the conversation, the Islamic Culture Center of Madrid proposed to cooperate with the Imam Bukhari International Scientific-Research Center.

The guest’s proposal was supported, and a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two institutions.


For information: The Islamic Culture Center was founded in 1992 in Madrid (Spain). This is one of the largest centers of Europe in its activities. The center includes one of the oldest mosques in Spain, the Cordoba Mosque, a library, a kindergarten, a school of Arab and Islamic culture, a conference hall for 500 people, an art museum and sports complexes.
At the end of the visit, Hussam Siddiq Khoja wrote his heartfelt wishes in the book of honored guests of the center.
