During the visit, a roundtable was held with the participation of the Center’s scientific community and guests. Deputy Director Shukrullo Umarov briefed the participants on the establishment, goals, and objectives of the center, as well as on international cooperation, research and development.
The guests also shared their impressions and plans.
– First of all, thank you for meeting us with the utmost respect and care.
My visit to Uzbekistan has been filled with unforgettable moments. I was shocked to see the changes in your country. I have witnessed great construction and creative work. During our visit, we met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of your Republic. During our conversation, we also exchanged information about Imam Bukhari International Research Center. Today, I was very impressed with the style of construction of the Center. We also plan to open an Imam Bukhari International Research Center in Malaysia.
I was pleased to hear that the IBISRC has established partnerships with Islamic research centers and universities in Malaysia. In the coming months, we will arrange a tour of a group of Malaysian Islamic scholars and researchers. They are also familiar with the activities of the Center and the Hadith School. I think this will help to expand the cooperation of scientific institutions and do a lot of joint research. I would like to express my support for the promising research projects of the Center in our country, – said Marzuki Yahya, Special Representative of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Deputy Foreign Minister.
